Clinton-Dix was perhaps the most well known safety heading into the 2013 season and he had moments when he lived up to that hype, if you will.
He missed a couple of games in the middle of the season as he was suspended for taking money from an Alabama assistant coach.  It doesn't appear that Clinton-Dix is an character problem, but just a young man that made a difficult decision that shouldn't follow him into the NFL.
He has the requisite size and range to play either safety spot in the league.  He does play out of control at times, but he can close on the ball carrier and make plays near the line of scrimmage.
